Kymeta Government Solutions

Kymeta Government Solutions is led and staffed by those who understand the distinct requirements of the government user community and the demanding environments where our solutions are deployed. We serve global government customers at the federal, state, and local levels, always remaining cognizant that human lives depend on the performance and reliability of our products.

First Responders

With Kymeta, SATCOM connectivity is readily available when the electrical grid is destroyed and cellular service is unreliable or non-existent, such as in natural disasters, mass casualty events, and rural operations. Kymeta’s solutions give users access to reliable, modern SATCOM connectivity they’ve never had before.

Interoperability and the ability to communicate seamlessly across jurisdictions is also critical for law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services (EMS), and Kymeta delivers that with our line of technology agnostic SATCOM antenna and terminal solutions.

Kymeta solutions are flat, light, and simple to deploy, use and recover, so First Responders can communicate and execute quickly, simply, and reliably.

KYMETA PROVIDED CONNECTIVITY IN PUERTO RICO TO SUPPORT RELIEF EFFORTS

Kymeta technology provided 24/7 broadband mobile connectivity, offering relief communication services to communities throughout Puerto Rico from three Liberty Puerto Rico vehicles outfitted with Kymeta flat panel satellite terminals.

Kymeta, Liberty Puerto Rico, Erwin Hymer Group, Intelsat, Walgreens, Duracell, and others supported relief efforts in Puerto Rico. Kymeta connected vehicles meant FEMA workers could connect their laptops to the internet and guide people through the FEMA application process for assistance. In addition, Kymeta mobile satellite communications technology provided those affected by the hurricane the ability to withdraw much needed cash from pop-up ATMs, seek medical attention, fill their prescriptions, and make phone calls to loved ones outside of the disaster zone.

The team was able to provide disaster relief to 33 communities across Puerto Rico, giving both first responders and community members much needed support. Kymeta and their partners enabled 22,266 internet sessions, 813.44 GB of data usage, served 36,895 hot meals, provided 4,213 medical services, and helped submit 2,504 FEMA requests.  Kymeta is proud to deliver connectivity via satellite where it’s needed most.
