Designed for the US DoD and government agencies, the Osprey u8 is our most robust product — battle-tested and ready for action on land or at sea.

Able to switch dynamically between LEO and GEO satellite networks, the Goshawk u8 terminal is ready to provide on-the-go communications right out of the box.

The Peregrine u8 is ideal for maritime connectivity, whether it’s commercial freight and fishing, or premier pleasure craft.

The Hawk u8 is an economical solution that can be preconfigured to work with either LEO or GEO satellite networks.

Learn about the range of u8 accessories from power supplies, to mounting and shipping solutions.

GEO satellite networks provide a stable connection thanks to their high vantage point above the earth. We offer GEO connectivity tailored to flat-panel antennas, including plans that include TRANSEC access.

Our U.S. DoD bundle provides access and easy management of Ku GEO, Eutelsat OneWeb LEO, TRANSEC, and 4G LTE, plus the ability to manage many terminals in a single plan.

As we celebrate Veterans Day and Remembrance Day, we take this moment to recognize the extraordinary veterans on our team who have served with distinction. Their accomplishments reflect the highest ideals of service, commitment, and leadership. The discipline and work ethic they bring to every task continue to elevate our culture and strengthen our shared mission.
We invite you to read the comments below from some of the veterans on the Kymeta team as they share their reflections.

What lessons from your time in service have influenced your approach to teamwork and leadership?
"One of my biggest takeaways from my time in service is to never believe you know it all. Regardless of what rank, position, or title you carry, every member of a team has something to offer in regard to knowledge. Sometimes the vision of a goal becomes much clearer after gaining the perspective of another teammate. Remain approachable and ensure that the team understands you are here to help and not just there to check off a box."
What advice would you offer to active-duty service members preparing to transition to an industry career?
"To all active duty-members preparing to transition there is not much left to say. You have the training, discipline, and ethos of one of the greatest fighting forces of the world. Remain adaptable, remind yourself of everything you have overcome thus far, keep moving forward and the rest will fall into place. If there are any doubts or fears about coming into the industry career world then reach out to others. No need to stress yourself out with needless speculations or what ifs. Still one team, one fight. Use your resources and contact support if needed."

What lessons from your time in service have influenced your approach to teamwork and leadership?
"That when you care for people, keep them informed (of the good news, the bad news and the information they need), set the example and remain approachable – many will seek your counsel. When you can genuinely use the phases: Please, Thank You, I am Sorry, I was Wrong - you demonstrate not only respect for others but a confident expression that you are thoughtful with a positive sense of self."
What advice would you offer to active-duty service members preparing to transition to an industry career?
"Do not fear it – as silly as that sounds, many leaving the military service do not feel comfortable moving in that direction. Look for a product that you believe in and wish you had when in uniform, or something you relied on in the field or combat, and you will find it is easy to be a part of that new team and create desire to promote the same for all of the right reasons. Do not lose your commitment to mission accomplishment, your courage to speak truth to power, and never compromise your integrity."

What lessons from your time in service have influenced your approach to teamwork and leadership?
"There is no one-size-fits-all to leadership. The Marine Corps taught me adaptability to different scenarios and teammates. Applying a multifunctional leadership approach to teams and scenarios has been a common theme to success throughout my post military career."
What advice would you offer to active-duty service members preparing to transition to an industry career?
"The military gives you many skills that can be applied in a variety of ways. What is ordinary in the military is extraordinary in the civilian sector. Take charge of your future, network, and apply the same work ethic the military gave you to the civilian world and you will go far!"

What lessons from your time in service have influenced your approach to teamwork and leadership?
"One day in the Spring of 1994 as a newly promoted First Lieutenant, I found myself in Mogadishu, Somalia, pinned down by medium machine gun fire; my first experience with shots fired at me in anger. As I frantically crawled behind a stone wall, I heard something very out-of-place – laughter. I looked to my left to see our Sergeant Major on his belly laughing with a big grin on his face. He said to me, in a very deep and cheerful southern drawl, “Sir, it looks like we’re pinned down! What are we going to do now?” That stuck with me for the remainder of my Marine Corps career and influences me today. The lesson I took from that experience was: In a crisis, stay calm, assess the situation, and try to find a solution – if possible inject some humor (it makes others feel better). At times other than crisis, don’t take yourself too seriously."
What advice would you offer to active-duty service members preparing to transition to an industry career?
"Leadership traits and principles learned on active duty work well in industry as well – try to remember to apply them in everyday life."
The remarks shared by Calvin, Steve, Brad, and Matt echo Kymeta's collective commitment to the military community. Their backgrounds in service foster a mission-first mindset that strengthens collaboration, innovation, and accountability across our organization. Through their stories, we are reminded that excellence is not just a goal but a shared responsibility carried forward with purpose.
We are honored to learn from their example and proud to be part of the mission to bring the next generation of mission-critical capabilities to military teams around the world.
